I’m sure some are tired of my pessimism
on the economic ideas of the future, but another note…
Since Sept. 1, North American companies have announced plans
to cut 62,600 jobs, according to figures from Bloomberg.
That’s the biggest two-month drop since early 2010. More
may be on the way in the estimation of Challenger, Gray &
Christmas, the big human-resources consulting firm.
The positive loop is being fed continuously, and while I think
people are doing a pretty good job with what’s going on,
what’s going on, is not revealed to all…
Like I said, business doesn’t care about you, it just is; and
what it has to do by mandate is stay in business. That’s
it… aside from all the other stuff…
Business will do what it has to do to beat
the collapse wave of demand down, and it stays profitable all
the way down, to live another day…
73% of companies (300 reported so far) beat estimates, but
what you don’t hear is that the forecasts are anything but
very optimistic, and this next year is going to be a difficult
one for sure…
